Introducing the captivating world of Loewe Menswear Fall 2023, a collection that embodies the essence of modern elegance and impeccable craftsmanship. Renowned photographer David Sims brings his visionary lens to capture the undeniable allure of the fashion-forward pieces, while actor Jamie Dornan’s magnetic presence adds a mesmerizing touch to this sartorial journey.
This form of silent communication is exemplified with a focus on reduction: two protagonists in a simple yet symbolic space, bringing to the fore their poses reminiscent of classical paintings and the clothes they wear.
Inspired by artist Julien Nguyen, who became a mainstay for the luxury powerhouse even when his works appeared during Loewe’s Fall/Winter 2023 Paris Fashion Week show, and his fascination with the old masters, the photos have a surreal, heartfelt feel through simple articulations of intense emotion.
From tailored suits in rich earth tones to avant-garde outerwear that exudes a sense of urban cool, Loewe showcases their mastery in creating versatile pieces that effortlessly elevate any wardrobe. The fusion of luxurious materials such as cashmere, silk, and fine leather with unexpected textures and patterns creates a mesmerizing visual tapestry that is both daring and refined.
Omar Apollo is super chill when it comes to diving into the messy side of love—like, that’s where his funky electro-soul really shines. This dude from Indiana got started with just a guitar and a laptop, creating these dope vibes with groovy beats and pouring out his heartbreak through smooth, wavering vocals. He gained major attention with tracks like the throwback-soul jam “Ugotme,” and then dropped his debut EP Stereo in 2018. That project was bilingual, with Apollo spittin’ rhymes (“Hijo De Su Madre”) just as effortlessly as he slipped into his falsetto (“Erase”). The next year, he hit us with Friends, another EP that brought even more funk to the table, heavily influenced by Prince and psychedelia. It’s straight fire, man.
