Loewe Men’s Fall 2024 Paris

Loewe’s Fall/Winter 2024 menswear collection is a vibrant and fantastical artistic feast. Drawing inspiration from the iconic works of contemporary American artist Richard Hawkins, the season features the participation of Richard Hawkins in the runway design.

Taking cues from Loewe’s 1960s window displays, the collection showcases 12 collage images of characters, interpreted by spokesperson #李泰容 (Li Tai Rong) and brand friends. Colors, textures, and proportions graced the runway for Jonathan Anderson’s Fall/Winter 2024 men’s show for LOEWE

Creative Director Jonathan Anderson extracts colors from Richard Hawkins’ paintings, transforming them into Fair Isle knitwear, leather jackets, wool coats, and handbags. Collage blocks are turned into T-shirts or sweatpants, cleverly combined with denim tops to create layered tops with a full sense of drape and a touch of deconstructive fun.

The collection also brilliantly reproduces Richard Hawkins’ most classic queer art paintings, directly transposing them into jacquard patterns applied to men’s jumpsuits and sweatpants.

While Loewe played with long and short proportions in the Spring/Summer season, Fall/Winter takes on the ultimate mix of formalwear and casual wear. This is the peculiar yet inherently charming allure that defines Loewe.
