Philipp Plein RTW Spring 2025 Milan

Philipp Plein Unveils a Sparkling Collection and His New Milan Palazzo

Philipp Plein hosted an unforgettable evening in his soon-to-open Milan palazzo, blending high-fashion with a grand showcase of his latest hospitality venture. The designer transformed the former Krizia showroom into a luxurious palace, complete with 20 bedrooms and four distinct restaurants. While models wove between tables and plush gray chairs in the Italian fine dining restaurant, Philipp’s, Plein himself dealt with the pressure of welcoming guests into his home. “I want everything to be perfect,” he confessed.

The event was nothing short of spectacular, despite a chaotic soft opening that included a late start and cramped seating arrangements. Yet, Plein’s signature flair was ever-present in his coed collection. Heavy on tailoring, the show sparkled with sequin-embroidered flames adorning dark wool suits, glittering collars on cotton shirts, and shimmering cowboy hats and clutch bags. The show had enough shine to light up a Vegas night.

For those seeking more subtle elegance, Plein didn’t disappoint. Sweet cherry patterns—often sequined—adorned slinky gowns and mini dresses, while cream tweed suits exuded French sophistication. A grungier edge appeared in the menswear with distressed jeans and oversized, frayed cardigans, creating a dynamic balance between high-shine and casual cool.

The collection was undeniably Plein—bold, flashy, and full of energy. But at times, the grandeur of the venue stole the show. The neon lights of the Japanese restaurant, the towering double P logo, and the thumping music created a dazzling sensory overload that made it hard to know where to look.

The evening was just the beginning of Plein’s larger hospitality ambitions. He plans to open 25 restaurants worldwide in the next two years, offering stand-alone concepts that blend fine dining with Plein’s signature glamorous flair. With a rooftop beach club and jungle set to debut next spring, it’s clear that Plein is pushing deeper into the world of entertainment, all while keeping his loyal fashion fans in tow.

Plein’s palazzo may still be a work in progress, but one thing’s certain—he knows how to throw a party.
