Balenciaga’s Fall/Winter 2025-2026 Ready-to-Wear collection, unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, marked a notable shift towards understated elegance. Creative Director Demna presented a collection titled “Standard,” focusing on refined tailoring and wearable designs. The runway featured business attire such as sharp suits, denim skirts, corset shirts, and sculptural overcoats, emphasizing subtle transformations over past theatrical elements.

A highlight of the show was Balenciaga’s collaboration with PUMA, introducing sportswear pieces like nylon tracksuits, sweatpants, and zip-up jackets. The collection also showcased PUMA-branded robes, leather bomber jackets, and co-branded accessories, blending Balenciaga’s high-fashion aesthetics with PUMA’s athletic heritage.
The footwear lineup included a reimagined version of PUMA’s Speedcat sneaker, dubbed the “Speedcat Ultrasoft,” featuring a worn-out aesthetic with Balenciaga branding. This design reflects the collection’s fusion of luxury fashion and sportswear elements.
Set in a minimalist venue at Cour du Dôme des Invalides, the show provided an intimate atmosphere, allowing attendees to focus on the craftsmanship and details of the garments. Notable guests included Tyra Banks and Jessica Alba, underscoring the event’s prominence in the fashion world.
This collection signifies Balenciaga’s evolution towards more accessible and commercially viable designs, balancing avant-garde elements with practicality.
