Fendi Men’s Spring/Summer 2026 in Milan: Silvia Venturini Fendi Says Arrivederci to Quiet Luxury

A Vivid New Chapter for Fendi

Can luxury be trippy? Silvia Venturini Fendi certainly proved it could during the Fendi Men’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in Milan. Known for her subtle mastery of quiet luxury, the designer waved goodbye to restraint and embraced a dazzling display of vivid colors, psychedelic florals, and eye-catching accessories.

The show was staged on a bold pixelated set created by Marc Newson, where models strode past perched VICs comparing bag charms and holding their Fendi treasures. It was a sensory overload that left quiet luxury firmly in the rearview mirror.

Sport Meets Couture

Taking cues from Japanese designer Chitose Abe of Sacai, Venturini Fendi injected hybrid performance details into her men’s collection. Elastic drawstrings, adjustable straps, and the cinched hems of windbreakers appeared throughout, but always elevated with luxurious touches.

Silk faille transformed track jackets into refined separates, paired with matching skirts for a fresh spin on the luncheon suit. Anoraks and windbreakers came laser-cut in perforated leather, proving that everyday pieces can be reimagined as couture.

Accessories With a Twist

Accessories were the star of the show. Models carried the new Collier handbag, which features a chunky necklace built into the design. Loafers were reimagined in furry mesh, while Fendi’s iconic Peekaboo bags received lavish, hidden embroideries — including sequins tucked inside, a form of what Venturini Fendi called “private luxury.”

And in a playful nod to whimsy, fluffy charms shaped like fried eggs dangled from bags — the second egg motif spotted in Milan this week.

Goodbye Quiet Luxury, Hello Playful Extravagance

Floral cutouts, printed lace, and exuberant colors dominated the runway. The collection felt joyful, fun, and celebratory, reflecting a bold break from the pared-back aesthetic dominating luxury fashion in recent seasons.
