DOMINIC ALBANO: BETWEEN EARTH & WATER
A poetic film series capturing the tension between stillness and transformation.

Photographed and designed by Dominic Albano, Between Earth & Water explores the delicate threshold between grounding and becoming — a moment of transformation caught on film in West Hollywood.

The visual series sits within Albano’s ongoing two-year elemental study, where Earth, Water, Fire, and Air unfold sequentially through six-month chapters. Each phase is revealed through color, texture, and tone, creating a slow-evolving dialogue between material and emotion.

The Earth phase, which began in June 2025, introduced a palette of rust, moss, and sand — tactile hues evoking raw surfaces and natural grounding. In this opening act, the garments — two swimsuits and a sand-colored tank — feel almost secondary, softened by the fluidity of water and the tenderness of stillness.

As Albano transitions into Water, the narrative begins to shift. This phase acts as a quiet bridge, an evolution of tone and touch. It carries forward the earthy foundation while hinting at movement, fluidity, and emotional expansion — an exploration of transition rather than destination.

The mood recalls Bruce Weber’s early Abercrombie & Fitch imagery, Helmut Newton’s voyeuristic poolside lens, and Tom Bianchi’s Fire Island Polaroids, yet the work remains distinctly Albano’s. His world is one of muted palettes, retro sensuality, and solitary introspection — a cinematic moment caught between what was and what’s forming.

At its heart, Between Earth & Water is not merely a fashion story — it’s an act of personal mythology, a continuation of Albano’s belief that transformation begins quietly, beneath the surface.

As always, his process unfolds with intuition rather than urgency, allowing time and texture to reveal meaning. The project serves as both documentation and meditation — a reflection of the designer’s expanding narrative across photography, design, and emotion.

I wish dating with him
Visited the doctor-dating page here: https://www.uniformdating.com/doctor.html and I’m impressed by how candid it is about the challenges (like irregular hours) of dating someone in medicine. It’s cool to see a platform that doesn’t pretend it’s all easy, but still shows how rewarding it can be. If you’re looking to meet a smart, caring professional and are okay with some flexibility in scheduling, this seems legit. Definitely a nice change from generic dating sites.
Matteo is the best selection from this campaign, and we want to see more of him.
