Set inside nhow Milano and around Vertigo, the hotel’s cocktail bar, the story turns contemporary architecture, graphic shadows and shimmering water into a cinematic summer playground. McGregor moves effortlessly between moments of polished sophistication and poolside sensuality, embodying a modern masculinity that feels confident, relaxed and unapologetically physical.

Under the styling direction of Ellen Mirck, the editorial plays with the contrasts of a summer wardrobe. Crisp white trousers and a fitted tank top evoke timeless resort dressing, while sharp shirting, abbreviated shorts and oversized sunglasses introduce a more provocative, retro-inflected attitude. Elsewhere, dark tailoring and leather shift the mood toward something cooler and more nocturnal.

Color becomes an essential part of the visual narrative. A saturated orange shirt and tie echo the warm tones of the surrounding architecture, while pale blue and navy looks respond to the hotel’s pool and open sky. The alternation between vivid color and high-contrast black-and-white photography gives the story its distinctive rhythm.

Gocan’s images make impressive use of the location. McGregor is framed between heavy curtains, stretched across striped terraces and sculptural lounge chairs, submerged in rippling orange water and isolated beneath a narrow, almost surreal window into the swimming pool.
