MSGM Spring/Summer 2027: Cambia Segno

For Spring/Summer 2027, MSGM delivers “Cambia Segno,” a menswear collection bursting with color, youthful energy and the slightly offbeat combinations that have long defined the Milanese label.

Taking its poetic cue from Dante — “E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle” (“And then we came forth to see again the stars”) — the collection feels appropriately optimistic. Rather than retreating into minimalism, MSGM embraces clothes designed to be noticed.

From the runway, color becomes the collection’s strongest language. Brilliant tomato red covers polo shirts and trousers, electric green appears on dramatically flared pants, and unapologetic pink moves from tiny shorts and sweater vests to full-length trousers. Even conventional tailoring gets disrupted: a relaxed tobacco-brown suit is sliced down the sides with vivid green stripes and worn over a hot-pink top.

The silhouettes jump between lean and deliberately exaggerated. Narrow cropped trousers and fitted polos sit alongside wide-leg pants that almost sweep the floor. Preppy staples—striped shirts, ties, sweater vests and tailored trousers—are pushed somewhere more playful through unexpected proportions and saturated color.

Print provides another jolt. A black shirt scattered with oversized stars and an almost psychedelic multicolored floral shirt make MSGM’s maximalist instincts impossible to miss. Elsewhere, tie-dye-like bands streak across black outerwear and knitwear, giving familiar pieces a graphic, handmade quality.

There is also something charmingly rebellious about the styling. Formal shirts meet flip-flops, ties appear with bright trousers, and traditional menswear codes are treated as ingredients rather than rules.

MSGM Spring/Summer 2027 is menswear with the volume turned up: optimistic, colorful and knowingly eccentric. Cambia Segno indeed—the collection takes recognizable wardrobe classics and changes their direction through color, proportion and attitude.
