Concept and frame of our collection
The dystopia raises a world in which the contradictions of ideological discourses are brought to their most extreme consequences. In this sense, dystopia explores our current reality with the intention of anticipating in what way certain methods of conduction of society could lead to unfair and cruel systems.
Hence the dystopia, and we through it, want to warn about the potential dangers of ideologies, practices and behaviors on which our current societies are built: extreme capitalism, state control , consumerism, technological dependence and wild pollution.
Characteristics of the collection
The main feature of the collection is the game that is applied in the contrast of volumes between the different pieces.
On the other hand, we also play with the contrast of fabric textures. Thus, we find synthetic fabrics combined with wool, leather and cotton wool. The goal is to achieve a heterogeneous piece, sophisticated, warm and, above all, comfortable.
As for the use of colors, we will combine cold colors, such as steels, silver and blue, with a warm color that will stand out over the rest and that will be red.
Red symbolizes power, action. It is the color that is associated with vitality, ambition and passion.
Red also brings confidence in oneself, courage, courage and an optimistic attitude to life. Success, triumph, war, blood, strength. It is the ideal color to fight in our dystopian world.
Materials
Underwear: modal, premium cotton, viscous, soft fabrics with great adaptability and comfort, different grammages for playing with volumes and textures.
We always apply our R & D and fabricate the fabrics through the heat to avoid sewing and give different forms the volume.
Sport: We emphasize the combination of technical materials in order to achieve the perfect balance between comfort and aesthetics.
Cotton, synthetic mixtures, laminates / membranes that provide a much more comfortable interior piece and a more technical exterior.
For women, we continue working on the design of the technical pieces to offer a wide range of pieces for everyday, framed within the trend of ATHLEISURE.
Styling
Within the dystopian context in which our story goes, stylism will be inspired by the great dystopias of the cinema, such as Mad Max, Blade Runner, Waterworld … Also in stories of the small screen in terms of style, with series of absolute tendencies, such as The Handmaid’s Tale (the story of the baby girl). All this FUSION will always be faithful to the bases of the great references of dystopia, such as A happy world and 1984.
In the styles we will see mixed our star pieces, such as underwear and sportswear, with large padded jackets, backpacks, rubber boots and leather accessories. We use large metal parts, leathers and plastics to protect us from the inadequacies of the phenomena caused by climate change.
The result will be post-apocalyptic and survival style, which will combine key pieces in our collections with technical, sophisticated and comfortable pieces for daily use.
