Authentic Carlos Campos

Honduras native Carlos Campos grew up in a design household and was inspired by his father, a master tailor.

Carlos Campos Spring/Summer 2019 New York is all about authenticity and embracing Hispanic roots.

Campos chose to follow his footsteps and became a fashion designer.

He won the Fashion Group International’s Rising Star award for menswear and was a finalist for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.

After studying at Fashion Institute of Technology, he worked as a design consultant for Zara and PVH among others.

“As every season goes by, it’s good to remind yourself of who you really are.”

As an array of tailored coats, high-waisted ultrafitted trousers –some with plackets turned inside-out intentionally in the front.

In a washed-out color palette of creams, nude tones and even bright amarillo yellows provided the elegant clean contrast for most of the color-blocked items.
