5 Awesome Hacks to Improve Your Hairstyle

1. Use the Right Styling Product(s)

Can’t decide which styling product is best for you? Well, that depends on the effect you’re attempting to achieve. For example, if you’re going for a slick hairstyle, opt for a good hair gel. If you have thick hair and are looking for a firm hold, along with some shine and softness, then you should definitely opt for high-quality hair waxes. Need to create some texture and a natural hold on your hair type? Then you should opt for an excellent hair cream for men.

2. Avoid Over-Shampooing

Do you seriously think that men washed their hair on a daily basis a thousand years ago? In your imagination, they probably got a chance to wash their manes right between hunting down a meal and fighting off an attack from the neighboring tribe. Nope. Those wise guys didn’t wash their hair everyday, no way. Follow their example, dude. Shampoo once every two or three days. That way, you will allow your scalp enough time to replenish its natural oils and help your hair recover. As a result, making your mane look stylish will be a lot easier.

3. Create More Volume

If you want to give that hair more volume, you’re going to need your comb and a blow dryer. Comb your hair up and blow dry it at the same time. That way, you will keep it all up-and-trendy. Alternatively, you can also blow dry your mane upside down and let the power of gravity work wonders on your hair bounciness. You will like the result for sure!

4. Cut Down on Excessive Heat

Tired of dry and unruly hair? Make sure you avoid washing your mane with hot water. Opt for lukewarm water to rinse your hair instead. By practicing this approach, you will help your hair maintain its natural oils needed to prevent dryness. In addition to this, air-dry your hair whenever possible. Excessive heat won’t do your hairstyle any good, so make sure you let your hair chill without the blow dryer at least once in a while.

5. Try Dry Shampoos

Dry shampoos are awesome. They are great at absorbing your scalp grease and i.e. cleaning up your mane in an amazingly effective way. So make sure you have a bottle of dry shampoo around just in case. It will definitely help you improve your hairstyle on the go.

  1. hmm, I have a secret don’t blow dry your hair, towel dry thoroughly but don’t be rough. I have a small to medium size fan on in the bathroom counter facing your head. I have the fan on fast speed while you styling it. after it’s damp dry I add a light amount of styling gel then brush it back and forth and hold the brush so the fan doesn’t make it flyaway. Once it’s mostly dry I might add a small amount of gel to straighten any lose flyaway hairs It works just as good and doesn’t dry out your scalp it also helps keep your mirrors fog free. The Cool air from the fan dries it more evenly and you don’t concentrate heat in just one section. I haven’t used a blow dryer in years. It’s good advice to rinse off conditioner with cool water before stepping out the shower. It also wakes your ass up in the morning and I hear it’s good for your skin. Making the pores tighten after a warm shower. I have the strongest, shiniest and fullestl hair ever. Seriously, I was the blowdry queen as some would say and I always was buying all kinds of hair products and now I just use a simple inexpensive daily shampoo and conditioner a cheap argan oil gel and that’s it.
