Feng Chen Wang adopted a more romantic yet equally sophisticated approach for the spring collection, characterized by soft tailoring and techniques inspired by her cultural heritage. She titled the collection “A Future in Bloom,” reflecting both the ethos that has underpinned her brand, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and serving as a manifesto for what she envisions as the inaugural chapter of its second decade. The collection commenced with an elegantly designed beige shorts suit, enhanced by pleats integrated into the jacket’s panels that expanded gracefully with the model’s movement. Subsequent pieces featured fluid tailored shorts of a considerable width, resembling kilts or skorts; boxy jackets adorned with utilitarian pockets complemented by billowy poet sleeves; and lightweight blousons characterized by a satisfying cocooning shoulder line, with many pieces presented in flattering shades of pink.

A khaki overcoat adorned with dispersed foliage was crafted utilizing a high-temperature pressed-plant technique, which she employed on a durable fabric woven on an antiquated loom that produced 50-centimeter-wide bolts of material.
Combining them illustrates the concept of collective growth, akin to how a singular plant matures into a forest,” she remarked. “It ultimately converges into a unified whole.”
Subsequently, sophisticated denim and refined knitwear emerged in a palette of gentle blues, reflecting a sense of freedom and optimism for Wang’s vision. A distinctive zigzag cardigan, styled alongside tailored shorts worn by basketball player and long-time friend Russell Westbrook, garnered significant attention.

This section conveyed a sense of “schoolboy energy,” as articulated by the designer, thereby reinforcing the perception of a youthful brand that is maturing and developing its identity.
