Agnès b. Celebrates 50 Years of Style at Paris Spring/Summer 2026

A heartfelt tribute to five decades of effortless Parisian elegance.

“It’s the end of the school year celebration,” said the legendary Parisian designer Agnès b., walking down the catwalk and thanking her guests. Tonight in Paris, the brand celebrated its 50th anniversary with a nearly 30-minute show—an emotional ode to freedom, creativity, and timeless simplicity.

The Spring/Summer 2026 collection revisited five decades of design, from 1975 to 2025, blending iconic silhouettes with modern ease. Agnès b.’s tactile approach—soft yet strong fabrics, natural textures, and her signature stripes—returned to the runway in a series of jackets, shirts, and workwear-inspired pieces.

True to her philosophy of a “side-step” style, the collection played with humble muslin and refined courtly details, turning casual garments into quiet couture. Every look told a story, infused with cinematic and painterly spirit—a reflection of the brand’s deep ties to art, film, and photography.

The show concluded with a nostalgic musical performance honoring Agnès b.’s artistic life and unwavering independence.

“When I arrived in Paris in 1993,” the writer recalls, “the first thing I did was go to Rue du Jour to discover the world of Agnès b. Today, we’re happy to celebrate 50 years of style. Bravo, Agnès!”
