FASHIONABLY MALE SHOWS ULTIMATE GUIDE FOR HOTTEST SUMMER TRENDS

So many requests and comments about last Summer Trends topic we wrote about. After seen and anaylized Menswear Collection in London, Milan and Paris. Spring 2017 collections brought back traditional colours, modern shapes and a range of unexpected accessories for the hotter months.

General Idea Spring/Summer 2017 New York

General Idea lightened things up this season, but the brand’s propensity for playing with proportions continued.

John Varvatos Spring/Summer 2017 New York

Leave it to John Varvatos to continue to bend the rules. He was the one to close out New York Fashion Week this year. The location meant that the number of attendees was limited, but it also allowed Varvatos to more effectively showcase the “fabrics, details, textures and finishes” of the line, he said. “I want to do something different and this venue could be in France.”

Timo Weiland Spring/Summer 2017 New York

Timo Weiland’s spring collection expounded on what the brand does best: create quirky pieces with a preppy twist — although the overall offering fell a bit flat.

Matiere Spring/Summer 2017 New York

Matiere’s love of San Francisco and the Grateful Dead shone through in its spring collection. “We love San Francisco and the northern region and wanted to tie it into the grittiness of the city,” said designer Scot Shandalone.
