In the summer of 2015 I was lucky enough to interview an up and coming Australian model named Mitchell Wick. Since then, as you know, Mitch has become not only Australia’s top male model but one of the top models in the world. Recently I was able to catch up with Mitch and do a little catch up.

CC: Since we last spoke you have made a huge leap in your career. It’s safe to say you’re one of the top male models in Australia and in the world for that matter. What has the past 6 months been like for you?

MW: The past 6 months have been great, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a lot of amazing clients and photographers, shot some of my best stuff to date & traveled a lot between Australia, Indonesia and USA where I now live!

CC: What does a perfect day for Mitchell look like?

MW: Finding a secluded beach with a fun wave to surf and a nice girl waiting on the beach for me when I get back in 🙂

CC: Who inspired you growing up?

MW: My father! He achieved a lot in life & worked really hard for it which I admire, unfortunately he passed a few years back.

CC: If I asked ur friends and family to describe you, what would they say? Im not sure I’d want to know haha!

MW: Nah, probably most my friends and family would say that I love having a good time, always looking for the party but can be a little moody & closed at times. Obviously I wouldn’t agree though 🙂

CC: What one word best describes you?

MW: Focused.

CC: When you have a cheat meal, what is it?

MW: Pizza!!

CC: What do you hope people say about Mitchell Wick? 

MW: Hard working model with potential to go far in the industry.

CC: What is the next step in your career?

MW:  I recently moved to USA so I’ll be here for the next few months to try establish myself and hopefully book some decent jobs, then I would love to go to Europe to try the market there and travel a bit.

CC: After modeling what do you see yourself doing?

MW: Well I hope I can continue with modeling for awhile yet and try get into acting too. I have plans to start my own business over the next few years in the tourism industry. But for now I’m concentrating on modeling!
