The Narratives is an exciting new fashion exposition that serves as a platform for storytelling. In this captivating event, the renowned book “A Little Life” by Hanya Yanagihara is given a profound, self-reflective reread. Recently showcased on Instagram, the talented actor James Norton, who stars in the book’s stage adaptation in London, breathes life into its passages, captivating audiences with his portrayal. This thought-provoking exploration of Yanagihara’s work acts as a tool for gaining insights, setting the stage for the upcoming menswear show, Valentino The Narratives.

Notably, Jeff Satur, a close associate of the fashion house, and the esteemed Brand Ambassador Yang Yang engage in a contemplative discussion, delving into the depths of “A Little Life” in anticipation of the enlightening experience that awaits at Valentino The Narratives.

Flowers serve as a symbol of life itself; transience made permanent atop garments at Valentino The Narratives.

In Milan, American singer-songwriter @d4vddd performed at the center of Valentino The Narratives, setting a soundtrack to Piccioli’s meditation on the past, present and future of masculinity.

Emblems of affection and tenderness, the flower is both a graphic decoration and a replacement for the rigid structures of traditional tailoring.

Valentino The Narratives takes a moment to redefine the identity of men, re-examining the meaning of masculinity and discovering a new modern perspective.

The Narratives is Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Spring/Summer 2024 menswear collection that redefines the life of men, the life of their clothes, and the reality of what masculinity is now.
For this collection Piccioli brings the past and makes it part of the present. The collection is anchored in the rules of tailoring, and presented in Milan, where Valentino Garavini stages the first Valentino menswear show in 1985.

Valentino’s SS24 collection was held at the Universita Degli Studi Di Milano, and opened Milan Men’s Fashion Week. The show is Valentino’s first separate Men’s show in the last three years.
Taking cues from Hanna Yanagihara’s A Little Life that “…things get broken and sometimes they get repaired. And in most cases, you realize that no matter what gets damaged, life rearranges itself to compensate for your loss, sometimes wonderfully.”
