Gran Canaria and IFEMA MADRID come together again to co-organize a new edition of Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida.
During the Gran Canaria Swim Week, we will be showcasing the noteworthy features of men’s swimsuits from esteemed brands such as Palmas, desigenr Chela Clo, and many others. Join us to witness an exclusive collection tailored specifically for men.
More than thirty designers, including international, peninsular and Canarian firms, complete a bathroom fashion calendar full of craftsmanship, quality, design and sustainability. An agenda of parades that has a casting of models at the height of the great international catwalks with a call for international prescribers who will spread the name of Gran Canaria to all corners of Europe. The catwalk will take place in three days of parades, between October 5 and 7 at the ExpoMeloneras venue in Maspalomas. In this edition, GCSW by MC will host 9 international firms, 16 Canarian firms – 14 from Gran Canaria and 2 from La Palma – and 6 peninsular firms. One more edition, these figures support the organization’s commitment to the internationalization of the event.

Chela Clo
Discover the two distinctive lines of the Chela Clo swimsuit collection for Gran Canaria Swim Week 2023. The first exudes ethnic essences with vibrant retro touches, while the second, of a more commercial character, surprises us with bold and playful prints.
Chela Clo is a clothing, bathing, cycling and accessories brand created in 2014 by Jorge Toledo.
With two different design lines. In bathing and cycling, color and retro aesthetics reign. The line of casual clothing and accessories is more focused on daily use, designed with a mind to generate a timeless wardrobe background, made with the highest quality.
With various initiatives to promote cycling and sustainable mobility, we have digital channels with an annual impact of close to one million people in almost 100 Spanish-speaking countries. A pioneering initiative in the textile sector.

Palmas
Museums display collections, that is, sets of objects and information that reflect some aspect of human existence or its environment. These types of collections, almost always valuable, have existed since Antiquity: temples kept objects of worship or offerings that were occasionally exhibited to the public so that they could contemplate and admire them.
Collection inspired by works donated by the Art Institute of Chicago with works by artists of all time, from Van Goh, Modigliani or Gaughin among others.
The brand @swimwearpalmas has aimed to preserve the selected images, adapting them to the brand’s style and their vision of swimwear fashion, showcasing a way to communicate and approach museums to the world, while respecting the artwork and artists’ work so they can be admired at beaches, pools, and on the streets thanks to this collection.

MR&G Design
The rule of the 3 Rs (reduce, reuse and recycle) has been taken as a flag, with its own fabric created from scraps.
A return to the Madrid movement is proposed, both aesthetic and sentimental, seeking to break with the above. It is a collection that breathes joy, positivity, rebellion and above all a look at the past to improve the present.
The signature of Canarian artist Moisés Rivero proposes a return to the Madrid scene, both aesthetically and sentimentally, seeking primarily to break away from the past.
It is a collection where joy, positivity, and rebelliousness are in the air, and it looks to the past with the aim of improving the present.
Muchiachio
This collection aims to be a story of what tourist life entailed in the south of Gran Canaria in the 1970s. It is about telling the story of the tourist offer that existed at that time. Offer closer to what we would understand today as rural tourism, since, at that time, the exploitation of the south of Gran Canaria had only just begun.
It is proposed to make a second installment of this story. Under the motto of TOURIST CLASS 2 we deliver two new episodes that will give us the perfect context for the presentation of the new spring / summer 2024 collection.
CALA 1789
A prêt-à-porter brand inspired in La Riviera which reinvents itself with stile and originality.
Will find all sorts of swimsuits. Plain; colourful; with stripes; embroidered; or with patterns. All of them with matching shirts or t-shirts. Without forgetting its iconic product, the espadrilles. And we would complete all of it with a selection of accessories: bracelets, bags, sunglasses, hats and towels.
It’s ideal for all summer outings!
