Acne Studios Men’s Spring 2025 Paris

Acne Studios, under the creative direction of Jonny Johansson, continues to embrace the unconventional with its latest Spring/Summer 2025 collection, showcased at the brand’s newly established headquarters in Paris. The presentation reflected Johansson’s commitment to pushing boundaries and redefining the norms of men’s fashion.

Titled “Into the Batcave,” the collection combined elements of superheroes, counterculture, and a bold exploration of the shifting landscape in menswear. “It’s not about superhero clothing, it’s more the attitude,” Johansson explained, emphasizing the importance of self-expression and empowerment in contemporary fashion.

In an era where many brands opt for classic tailoring and conservative silhouettes, Acne Studios remains dedicated to challenging the status quo. The collection featured daring pairings, such as printed skivvies with a transparent trench coat and suit jackets with cycling shorts. The label’s signature canvas pants, now adorned with trompe-l’oeil denim prints, were paired with a shredded knit crop top, further reflecting the brand’s penchant for experimentation.

Collaborations played a significant role in the collection as well. Acne Studios joined forces with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to incorporate DC Comics heroines like Wonder Woman and Catwoman into their designs. Additionally, a spray-painted graphic by London-based artist Francesca Frankis, known as Coldf33t, made an appearance on a fleece jacket.

The presentation took place at the brand’s new Parisian headquarters, which masterfully blends the grandeur of a 19th-century mansion with the industrial charm of a former pharmaceutical laboratory, now serving as the showroom. Though the space is still being finalized, Johansson has already added a statement phallic pink sculpture to the reception area, establishing a distinctive and unapologetic identity for Acne Studios’ Batcave.

With the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Acne Studios demonstrates its unwavering commitment to innovation and individuality. As one of the few labels that consistently pushes the boundaries of fashion, it is evident that the brand will continue to create thought-provoking designs that celebrate the ever-evolving world of style.
