There is something reassuring about agnès b. menswear. While much of fashion continues to chase spectacle, Spring/Summer 2027 returns to the kind of clothes men can actually imagine wearing — relaxed, personal and distinctly Parisian.

Presented during Paris Fashion Week Men’s, the collection brings together lightweight tailoring, practical separates and easy summer pieces.

Looking through the menswear, the strongest idea is effortless layering. A pale green hooded top lands over crisp white trousers; softly constructed jackets arrive with roomy pants and sandals; scarves are casually wrapped around the neck or pulled over the head. Even the black double-breasted suit loses some of its formality through relaxed proportions and understated styling.

Black leather gives the collection its tougher moments. A leather jacket paired with dark floral trousers feels unmistakably rock-and-roll, while another glossy black ensemble offers a sharper counterpoint to all the washed neutrals. The broader collection repeatedly returns to black, white and midnight blue, alongside twill, jersey and poplin.

But summer eventually takes over. Cropped trousers, sandals, lightweight shirts, hats and playful printed pieces loosen everything up. One particularly charming look combines an almost translucent white top with warm orange at the waist and relaxed cream trousers. Elsewhere, a patterned shirt-and-pant set delivers an uncomplicated burst of color.

That balance is what works. agnès b. Spring 2027 isn’t trying to reinvent menswear. It makes familiar clothes feel desirable again. Tailoring, leather jackets, scarves, roomy trousers and summer shirts become a wardrobe built around personality rather than trends.

It feels French without becoming a cliché: slightly artistic, slightly rebellious and comfortable enough to look as though the wearer dressed himself.
