For Spring/Summer 2027, Acne Studios turns its attention to one of the most familiar environments in modern life: the office. But rather than presenting a straightforward interpretation of corporate dressing, the collection transforms the workplace into a dynamic landscape populated by a diverse cast of characters whose personal uniforms collide, overlap, and evolve.
The collection imagines the office as a shared space where generations, professions, and personalities coexist. Traditional workwear codes are filtered through a distinctly Acne Studios lens, resulting in a wardrobe that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking. The creative approach embraces a “master remix” of references, blending inherited pieces, contemporary silhouettes, and reimagined classics into a cohesive yet intentionally eclectic vision.

At the heart of the collection is the idea of reshuffling the familiar. Office staples are deconstructed and rebuilt through trompe l’oeil effects, unexpected embellishments, and playful color combinations. Tailoring appears less rigid and more expressive, while garments traditionally associated with formal dressing are infused with individuality and character. The result is a wardrobe that reflects the reality of modern work culture, where personal style often takes precedence over strict dress codes.
Acne Studios explores the tension between old and new, heritage and innovation. Vintage-inspired references sit alongside contemporary proportions, creating looks that feel collected over time rather than assembled for a single season. This layered approach reinforces the collection’s central theme of inheritance—how clothing is passed down, adapted, and reinterpreted by different generations.
Color plays an important role in disrupting expectations. Familiar office neutrals are energized by unexpected shades, while decorative details and embellishments introduce a sense of spontaneity. Trompe l’oeil techniques blur the boundaries between reality and illusion, challenging perceptions of what traditional workwear can be.
The Spring/Summer 2027 collection ultimately celebrates individuality within a collective environment. By treating the office as a place where personal narratives intersect, Acne Studios presents a wardrobe that embraces self-expression while acknowledging the enduring influence of classic dress codes. It is a thoughtful exploration of how contemporary menswear continues to evolve through reinterpretation, reinvention, and the blending of diverse identities.
