Berluti Menswear Spring 2025 Paris

At a time when the fashion world is buzzing about the concept of “power flex” and the rise of sneakers at formal events, Berluti has entered the conversation with its innovative Fast Track trainers. Blending the elegance of a formal shoe’s leather upper with the comfort of a sneaker sole, these hybrid shoes cater perfectly to power players seeking both style and practicality.

The brand’s emphasis on dressing “from the feet up” was evident in its Spring/Summer 2025 menswear collection, showcased at the Fondation Simone et Cino Del Duca in Paris. Alongside Berluti’s signature Alessandro oxford and Andy loafer, a range of more casual designs graced the runway, reflecting the label’s commitment to adapting to changing times.

A standout piece from the collection was the Icaria sandal in a captivating mineral blue hue, seamlessly paired with a light gray linen suit and white T-shirt. This versatile footwear option would also complement the brand’s linen sailor tops, adorned with the signature Scritto motif embroidery.

The Oslo derby, evoking a sense of adventure and the great outdoors, was stylishly combined with a blouson jacket made of faded olive-colored leather. The collection’s color palette ranged from eye-catching shades like vibrant lavender to rich hues such as kingfisher blue, adding depth and visual interest to the line-up.

Comfort was not forgotten in the design process, with the cozy Escale slipper matching effortlessly with a pajama-style embroidered linen set – an ideal ensemble for those laid-back moments away from the office.

As the chosen fashion house to dress Team France for the opening ceremonies of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Berluti’s choice of the Fondation Simone et Cino Del Duca as the backdrop for its collection was fitting. The venue, a 19th-century private mansion, exuded sophistication and provided an elegant setting for the presentation.

Vintage treasures like an Alfa Romeo parked in the driveway added character to the space, while pieces from esteemed artists such as Philippe Hiquily and Jean Touret created an atmosphere of refined taste and culture. By emphasizing timelessness and sophistication, Berluti demonstrated that remaining true to classic designs does not mean being stuck in the past.

Berluti’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection successfully marries the concepts of comfort, style, and adaptability, resulting in a versatile line-up that not only pays homage to the brand’s heritage but also reflects its forward-thinking approach to men’s fashion.
